Swansea grew up in the Chicago suburbs and was diagnosed with scoliosis as a teen. Successfully reducing her curve below surgical range with Schroth physical therapy and back bracing, she was motivated to pursue her own Schroth certification and bridge the gap between patient and therapist.
Upon graduating from the University of Minnesota’s DPT program, Swansea jumped at the chance to move to the mountainous PNW in pursuit of more opportunities to rock climb and snowboard outside. She loves the active culture here and working with patients who feel similarly!
