Hans was born and raised on a farm in eastern South Dakota and obtained his
Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology/Sport Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the
University of South Dakota. He and his fiance moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2022 because
of the abundance of outdoor opportunities and places to explore.
He has always enjoyed being active whether that be playing sports, being outdoors, or
exercising at the gym. His passion for health and wellness combined with his fascination for
what the human body is capable of lead him to a career in physical therapy. As a PT, he enjoys
educating patients, guiding them through their rehabilitation, and helping them learn how to
manage acute or chronic conditions. Hans enjoys the variety of patients he gets to see in the
orthopedic setting and seeing the journey of patients progressing towards their goals. Since
graduating, he has continued his education through obtaining certifications in Blood Flow
Restriction Training and ImPACT Concussion Rehabilitation.
Outside of work, he enjoys trying new restaurants and traveling with his fiance, watching
sports, and finding a new sport/activity to try.
