Having spent the last decade working in college athletics and swim coaching, Ching joins Peak Renton after receiving her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Washington. Her passion in physical therapy continues her past experience in working with athletes at all levels, from first time swimmers to Paralympians. Her practice is rooted in accessibility, compassion and agency, meeting her patients at their current level, and supporting them in their recovery and wellness journey. Her club swimming coaching experience in San Diego and Chicagoland saw her progress young swimmers into year round competitive athletes; many of her athletes have gone on to be recruited to major Division I programs across the country. Her interests are focused in pediatric and veteran populations, having spent time at Seattle Children's Hospital and the VA Hospital of Puget Sound.
A former collegiate swimmer, Ching has gone on to complete several Olympic and half-Ironman distance triathlons. She has spent the last few years living in Washington snowboarding as much as possible, as well as ski mountaineering several local stratovolcanoes. She is happiest in the sea, sun, and snow.
